Game of Shoulder-Fired Man-Feasibility Study of Virtual Missile Training System

Effective service of high-tech modern weapons is associated closely withhigh-quality training system. Particularly, for those weapons with high cost, virtualizedtraining system is the most appropriate platform. For the trainee’s interest and the besteffect of the training system, this article has analyzed various characters andadvantages/disadvantages of current different computer games to discover educationalmeaning wherein, and on the base of which, has designed a “man-portable missile game”training system. In this system, the full instruction book and suited training equipmentare provided for each specific model. Moreover, every part of the instruction book has itsincentive mechanism, through which the trainee can memorize repeatedly the content inthe instruction once a game is finished. The specialty of this system is that the training isbuilt on the simulated combat with entity weapons and real terrain. There are threetraining models for the portable missile project: single training model, team collaborationmodel and group confrontation model. They can offer soldiers not only omnidirectionaltraining for weapon manipulation, but also simulated real training situation with valuablemilitary experience for future practical combat.
