Research on the Facility Layout and Configuration Issue of Rail Transport Transfer System in the High Speed Railway Hub Station

With the completion of the high-speed railway network in our country, new integrated transport hubs, which dependent on the construction of high-speed railway, spring up quickly as well as the Urban Rail Traffic systems in major cities. The two systems have strong correlations in system transport characteristics and both belong to the general Rail transportation system. Exchange of passenger flow in and out of the city, and interchange between the two different transportation modes occur in the High-speed railway passenger hub, which is a huge complex transfer system. How to improve the transfer and interchange between the two different transportation modes, the rational configuration of various transfer facilities and transfer streamlines organization schemes in comprehensive communication hub have great realistic significance for meeting the demand of passenger flows, convenient transfer and improving the transfer efficiency of comprehensive communication hub.Firstly, based on domestic research, this thesis elaborates on functions and typical spatial layout modes of high-speed railway passenger hub and gives a definition of passenger rail transport system at junction center station, which is the study subject of this thesis. From the perspective of system theory, the composition of rail transfer system at junction center station is analyzed. The emphasis is put on the analysis of the capability and layout of transfer facilities, pedestrian flow characteristics and the coordination of different carriers in the transfer system.Using queuing theory, reliability theory and fault tree analysis, the study on reliability analysis model of the transfer facilities is carried out to establish rail transfer system facilities streamline configuration model with the objectives of shortest transfer time and lowest investment in the station. At last, the solution of the model is also described in the thesis and is applied to a case analysis to verify its validity.
