Rail transportation and conventional traffic as the urban public transport system’s two major components, the transfer between them is an essential part of the resident’s trip. Transfer is a feature of urban public transportation, so it is very important in urban public transportation system, especially the transfer between rail transportation and conventional traffic. Transfer mode is the link of rail transportation and conventional traffic, this thesis implement the people-oriented thoughts to optimize it in reason in order to enhance the transfer interface between rail transportation and conventional traffic, so as to imporve public transportation’s convenient, fast, comfortable.Firstly, this thesis analyzes the planning and construction present situation and the transit network layout of chongqing rail transportation and conventional traffic, in order to summarizes the problem in the transfer between rail transportation and conventional traffic.Secondly, it’s certify that the research on the transfer’s optimization is necessary by the analysis of the status and the function of the tranfer between rail transportation and conventional traffic in the public transportation system. Situation for the rail transportation and conventional traffic in Chongqing, this thesis selects a transfer mode which suitable Chongqing by analyze the exesting transfer mode between rail transportation and conventional traffic.Thirdly, according to the specific circumstances of chongqing, it puts forward the optimization contents of transfer mode in Chongqing’s rail transportation and conventional traffic:space layout, the transfer line, passenger traffic organization and the optimization of location of transfer mode’s.At last, the thesis takes the3line Sigongli station in Chongqing Nan’an distract for example to optimize the transfer mode, in order to increase the transfer efficiency between rail transportation3line Sigongli station and conventional traffic site. And in the optimization of transfer mode, it proposes redesign the architectural’s land which has bulid for a long time by the consider of the traffic situation and environment present situation, in order to achieve the purpose of high efficiency utilization of land and of the smooth flow of traffic.
