In recent years, with the rapid development of economic construction, ourcountry city scale is continually expanding, and the transportation industry is also inthe process of city development occupies an increasingly important position. Becausethe City Interchange Bridge multilayer stereo layout, improve the speed and capacity,ensure smooth traffic, has become an important symbol of the modernization of thecity. However, because of the complexity and particularity of city constructionenvironment, making the city overpass bridge construction on existing municipalstructure and influencing the traffic safety has become a problem which we mustconcern and pay more attentions. In this article I have taken the city overpass bridgeconstruction on existing municipal structure and influencing the traffic safety as theresearch direction, used the methods of risk assessment.First of all, the city overpass bridge construction are defined for both municipaland traffic safety risk, establishes the theoretical framework of its evaluation, and therisk identification and risk analysis method has been given a simple introduction.Secondly, the concept, basis, method and process of risk identification areintroduced, and the city overpass bridge construction on existing municipal structureand influencing the traffic safety risk has been given identification. In the same time Iobtain the specific risk source.Then, the concepts of the probabilistic risk assessment and risk estimation hasbeen introduced, and proposed to judge the risk factors of ALARP risk matrix basedon the acceptable level and coping strategy. Then introduced the application of AHPmethod and risk fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method of combining multiplefactors.Finally, applied the previous results to the HuangJueWan city overpassconstruction of Chongqing on the existing municipal structure safety influence therisk assessment process, the results of comprehensive risk assessment, and putforward the evaluation results related to the risk control measures.
