In recent years,with Chinese social and economic development,the problem ofurban traffic jams is increasingly serious. As an important means of effective solutionto the problem of traffic congestion, bus signal priority become a research hotspot.But the existing bus priority control methods have kinds of shortcomings, and alsolack of appropriate simulation platform to complete the real-time simulation ofdynamic traffic flow. In order to solve the above problems, this paper to establish theactual traffic conditions in line with our semi-physical dynamic simulation platformfor research, study the following:Firstly, the existing bus priority control method based on detailed analysis of theproposed control method based on optimization and rule-based adaptive bus priority,and to design genetic chaos optimization algorithm to calculate the key parameters;Secondly, this paper seriously explores the parameter setting method in theVISSIM traffic simulation software, and by using the sample of Shaoshan-XiangfuRoad intersection,Changsha City, Hunan Province, re-calibration of the additionalfactor bx _ad and bx _mu of the safe distance of the intersection of the saturationflow rate and multiplierto make it consistent with China’s actual traffic conditions;Tirldly, This paper presents a prototype design of a layered software architectureof the traffic signal control method; of VISSIM COM interface to several common bussignal priority algorithm. On this basis, the development of bus prioritycontrol-the-loop dynamic simulation platform;At last, this paper achieve a semi-physical dynamic simulation,. by using thesample of Shaoshan-Xiangfu Road intersection,Changsha City, Hunan Province,Differences by use of different bus priority control methods, to compare theirsimulation results, analysis of the obtained optimal bus priority control method;Finally,the lack and future of this Paper are brief discussed.
