At present, Ultra-light Digital aerial Photogrametry and Remote Sensing has been focus of Surveying and mapping. How to improve the efficiency of UAV aerial Photogrammetry, and how to improve the precision of aerial Photogrammetry is becoming an important research direction. Producting large matrix and ultra-light digital camera is the key to improve the efficiency of UAV aerial Photogrammetry, and the geometric calibration of high precision on camera is the key improve the precision of aerial Photogrammetry.In this paper, these problems mentioned are discussed. This paper analyzes the error source of non-measuring digital camera, dwells on usual methods of geometric calibration on digital camera. Indirect calibrating method based on geometric calibration is used to calibrate digital camera. A large number of tests have proved the reliability of the camera calibration parameters. On this basis, according to strict principles of image mosaic of multiple-array CCD, SWDC135 aerial digital camera is made up of four separated CMOS cameras based on combined mosaics of the field of outer viewer. Then, application in Remote Sensing emergency and exploration in aerial digital photogrammetry based on SWDC135 are talked. At last, evaluate the function and precision of SWDC135.
