During recent years, permanent assets investment continues to develop fast, and real estate has been exploited, which provides both tremendous motive power for economic improvement and development space for construction corporations. On the basis of operation and the source of economic profit, construction projects, which are one of the most important parts of the modern construction enterprises operation and management, are vital for construction corporation’s survival and development. In view of uniqueness of construction, problems arisen from the projects are grievous and hard to fix. Therefore, construction management directly influences the profit and operation of enterprises.As an old large-scale state-owned provincial construction enterprise, HS has completed a lot of projects in recent years, but still suffered from projects loss and poor profit-making because of ill projects management, which is caused by strategy deficiency and poor management. Hence, it is already a serious task for HS Group to improve project management and profit, put an end to project loss, and guarantee enterprise operation and continuing development.As a senior executive of HS Group, the author combines the theory from EMBA, and analyses the exiting problems of projects management so as to research the project management, and put up a way of improving benefit and management level. Meanwhile, the essay is aimed to provide a source of reference to enterprises in the same business.The essay consists of 6 chapters. Chapter 1 is an introduction to describe the research background, subjective investigated significance, objective, research approach and logical organization. Chapter 2 gives a sketch of correlation theory of construction projects management. Chapter 3 analyses the industrial characteristics, and current situation and existing problems of HS Group. Chapter 4 discusses projects problems of HS before costs management and control system is adopted. Chapter 5 elaborates the method of improving HS projects management. Chapter 6 analyses effectiveness of projects management and control system. At last, it is the conclusion and outlook, which are based on the essay research.Through the comprehensive analysis of HS projects management, the conclusion from the essay is stated as follows:state-owned construction enterprises are supposed to pay attention to system innovation to guarantee projects management level, to seriously control the projects process to improve projects cost control and benefit capability, to reinforce efficiency supervision to fix projects management defect, to strengthen competitive capability which is focused on technical innovation, and to promote standardized management so as to improve the overall management level, and enterprise comprehensive competitive strength.
