Tang’s deco architecture has been an important part of modern architecture in China.Tang architecture first showed up at the beginning period of reform and opening up, thenexperienced simple imitating, copy, finally it turn up as a mature and stable mode whichintegrates well with the function and structure of modern building. Tang’s deco architecturecombined traditional Chinese architecture elements to modern buildings.The paper try to find a kind of architecture that not only shows the traditional Chineseculture but also suit for the current society by using the research methods like case study,history research, and analyzing theory.The paper starts with an analysis that discuses the relationship between the other kinds oftraditional architecture design and Tang’s deco design, and also concludes the reason why theTang architecture is popular now by reviewing the history of Tang’s deco. The paper will havean overall discussion about the Tang’s deco architecture via investigating its socialbackground and situation now. The styles of Tang’s deco architecture were classifies due todifferent environments and conditions.The paper analyzes three different types of Jingqiu Zhang’s works, which were analyzedfrom the backgrounds, design theories, and details of architectural. And the paper discoursesTang’s deco architecture’s forms, colors, materials, functions, and combinations. The usage ofTang’s deco architecture elements were analyzed by comparing and analyzing and with otherkinds of antique buildings.The final part of the paper tries to figure out the future of the Tang architecture. Theexploring based on three contradistinctions: form and function, materials and structure,geographical and cultural. The influence of the Tang architecture will be deeply discussed byanalyzing the situation of urban, culture, tradition, and architecture of China. There are twoTang architecture projects of author at ending of this paper for showing the true feeling aboutthe Tang architecture.
