Study on Design and Application of Mixed Structure with Light Steel Roof&RC Column

In recent years, the application of the Mixed Structure with Light Steel Roof&RC Column, but there is no National Standard, Code and Technical specification for such a structure. There are disputes about the design basis, range of application and mechanical behavior for the structure in engineering field.This article focuses on the main mechanical system and engineering application of the Mixed Structure with Light Steel Roof&RC Column, There are three major types of the horizontal mechanical system for such structure:Simply supported folding beams (not commonly used), Concrete column-two hinge linear arch and Concrete column-mixed gabled frames; There are three major types of the horizontal mechanical system for such structure. There are two major types of the longitudinal mechanical system for such structure:with or without short column Multi-span Bent. Method of the combination of theoretical analysis and finite-element analysis was used in this paper; in order to research the static performance of structure, compare mechanics performance of the different structure systems and analysis the influence on the mechanical performance of the horizontal mechanical system with slope of roof and other factors.To make the actual project corresponds with the simplified mechanics model; the key joints of the Mixed Structure with Light Steel Roof&RC Column were summed up and designed, and detailing requirements of these key joints for the different structure systems was suggested, especially for the easily ignored longitudinal mechanical system. Meanwhile, some problems in engineering applications were discussed.In this paper, the relevant theories, key joints and engineering applications for the Mixed Structure with Light Steel Roof&RC Column were analyzed and studied, which can provide the relevant basis and suggestion for engineering application. The result has the certain reference value.
