Compared with foreigner, the study and application of jizi cold-formed steel in greenhouse structures in China is late. The cold-formed steel has begun to be used in the construction of the greenhouse structure, but its mechanical properties have not been studied yet, and it is not included in the specification of the steel and greenhouse structure either. As the development of greenhouse structure, the lack of security and reliability problems become more prominent. In order to promote the design and application of this type of steel, we have studied the mechanical properties of jizi cold-formed steel systems by consulting a lot of literature.(1) This paper introduces the domestic and foreign research and development of cold-formed steel, the application and study of cold-formed steel at home and abroad in the greenhouse.(2) Described the pressure on the concept of effective width of panels of cold-formed steel structure, and calculated it by using the exits computational theory.(3) This article calculates so many property of jizi cold-formed steel such as section moment of inertia, centroid, neutral axis parameter and calculate the tensile yield strength and nominal moment which is allowed in design.(4) ANSYS finite element analysis software has been used to establish the model of jizi cold-formed steel frame greenhouse. Compare the calculation results of the geometric parameters with the numerical simulation result, so that we can test the verify of the two calculating methods. Also the displacement of the contrast with the traditional steel-framed greenhouse. The calculation of the bearing capacity, analytical calculations, and finite element calculation results given in comparison after the recommendations of the design.(5) To sum up. Ccombined with the current international and domestic research presented in this article be further improved work.
