With the rapid development of economy in China and the implementation of western development strategy, the west becomes a hot spot in construction project. The large-scale distribution saline soil and its poor performance for foundation also become one of the focus in geotechnical engineering field. Study on disease mechanism of saline soil and selection of foundation treatment method concern salt migration inevitably.The salt migration in saline soil is a interactive result of moisture field, temperature field and salt field. Correct understanding of the mechanism of salt migration is the need of engineering construction in saline soil area. This paper provides one-dimensional control equation of moisture field, temperature field and salt field by single field analysis. Establishing tri-diagonal nonlinear equations by finite difference method for parabolic partial differential equation provides theoretical basis for numerical solution of the salt redistribution.On the basic of massive test data, this paper analyzes the influencing factors of water and salt migration, such as the particle size of saline soil, initial water content, dry density and so on. For testing the accuracy of theoretical derivation, the test data is compared with calculated value on the basic of reasonable soil parameter selection.This paper puts forward separation method, salinization method and water immersion method in saline soil foundation treatment, as well as the problem should be noted when using these methods, and provides certain test reference and theoretical basis.
