The Experimental Study on the Seeding Performance of Corn Precision Metering Device

Precision metering device is the core parts of Precision Drill, which seeding performance determines the quality of the planter seeding. The paper chooses air suction metering device, adjustable nest eye metering device and vertical spoon wheel metering device as study objects, analyses the respective theories.of the three types of metering device, and discusses experimental factors affecting the seeding performance of metering devices. To further explore metering mechanism and seeding performance of the seeding apparatus, determine the optimum working parameters of them, this paper make bench Performance Test for them, the experiment is carried out in the JPS-12seed metering device performance testing stage, precision seeding statistics and evaluation in accordance with GB/T6973-2005single grain (precision drills) test methods. Through single factor experiments on each precision metering device, some correlative conclusions were obtained from general laws and relationships between the experimental factors(eligible rates of the grain distance, the leak-sowing rates and the re-sowing rates) and the experimental index, regress influencing factors and indicators on seeding performance of the metering device, the regression equation was obtained. Through combinations of factors orthogonal test on the metering device, draw the primary and secondary experimental factors and the optimal parameter combination influencing seeding performance of the metering device by range analysis and variance analysis of the orthogonal experiment. The results showed that:as to air-suction metering device, the principal factors to affect the seeding performance is the rotational speed of sowing disc, when the rotational speed of sowing disc is39r/min, the gas suction chamber vacuum is4.5KPa, the qualified index of seed space is92.30%, and the seed metering device has best seeding performance; as to adjustable nest-eye metering device, seed-wheel rotation speed is a major factor affecting its seeding performance. When the seed-wheel rotation speed is50r/min, nest-eye length is11mm, the seed-metering device has the optimal performance, the certified index of seed space is88%; as to vertical spoon wheel metering device, seed-wheel rotation speed is a major factor affecting its seeding performance. When seed-wheel rotation speed is46r/min, block board locates at2, the seed-metering device has the optimal performance.
