Drip irrigation is gradually being a mature technology in cotton, maize, fruit trees and other crops,however it’s not been reported in Sudangrass seed production. In this paper, the destination of researchingof drip irrigation in Sudangrass seed production is to discover the interaction law of water and fertilizer,finding out effection of water and fertilizer coupling for Sudangrass seed yield in drip irrigation, and thenproviding technical support for standardization and scale of Sudangrass seed production.Experiment used randomized block design, for researching two factors which were water and fertilizer,each factor was divided into three levels, repeated three times, total of nine treatment; three kindsExperimental study of soil relative water content (RW) levels were50%to55%,60%to65%and70%to75%, When the soil moisture content reached the lower limit of each treatment, according with thequantitative to irrigation; three kinds of fertilizer levels were Urea+Potassium sulfate=135kg/hm~2+27kg/hm~2, Urea+Potassium sulfate=270kg/hm~2+54kg/hm~2, and Urea+Potassium sulfate=405kg/hm~2+81kg/hm~2.(1) At the early stage of the growth in Sudangrass joint, relative soil moisture level was70%to75%,fertilization level was Urea+Potassium sulfate=270kg/hm~2+54kg/hm~2, which is suitable for plants heightgrowth. At the late jointing stage, relative soil moisture level was50%to55%, fertilization level was Urea+Potassium sulfate=405kg/hm~2+81kg/hm~2, which is also suitable for plants height growth.(2) Effective number of branches increased with the amount of fertilizer and irrigation increased, it’sshowed that increasing irrigation, the amount of nitrogen and potash fertilizer helps Sudangrass effectivebranch within the scope seted in the experiment.(3) The time when the number of spikelets was the largest was the stage which relative soil moisturelevel was50%to55%, and fertilization level was Urea+Potassium sulfate=135kg/hm~2+27kg/hm~2,however,seed yield was not at the highest point. It’s means the amount of spikelets was not necessarily related withthe level of production. analysis of variance showed that W3F3had a significant difference with W1F2andW1F3.It’s showed that the more of the irrigation amount, the less amount of production In the case of thesame amount of fertilizer.(4) Panicle, grain number and grain weight is the biggest when the relative soil moisture level was50%to55%, fertilization level was Urea+Potassium sulfate=405kg/hm~2+81kg/hm~2.Sudangrass seedproduction increased with the increase in the amount of irrigation and fertilization. Panicle, grain numberand grain weight and yield closely related, they were important components of Sorghum seed yield.
