The Evaluation System and Application of Hongta Brand Orientation of Quality of Yuxi Flue-cured Tobacco

The high quality tobacco leaf material was the basis for the development of the cigarette industry. Our research focused on the following aspects:building of Yuxi tobacco leaf evaluation system, positioning and layout of different flue-cured tobacco varieties, and the study of tobacco production technique system.Firstly, we built the soil and meteorological evaluation system of Yuxi tobacco-growing area. In addition, for further studying the tobacco leaf, we also constructed the evaluation system of appearance quality and intrinsic quality, smoking quality, and the tobacco style features. The results showed that all the soil of Yuxi tobacco-growing area was suitable for cultivation of flue-cured tobacco. At least the92%villages in Yuxi were appropriate for flue-cured tobacco grown and only8%of the villages were unsuitable for flue-cured tobacco planting.90.5%of the tobacco leaf samples were highly qualified. Only9.5%of the samples were comprehensively evaluated as middle qualified and no sample was unqualified.Secondly, in this study we also built the soil database, ecological database and tobacco quality database of Yuxi tobacco leaf production. Based on these databases, the tobacco planting ecological environment and tobacco leaf quality change could be monitored more conveniently.Thirdly, our research further studied the flue-cured tobacco planting situation of Yuxi, the demand for tobacco materials of Hongta Group, and the smoking quality of KRK26and NC71. The results showed that the K326was the main cultivar of Yuxi tobacco area and an important source of tobacco raw materials for cigarette formulations of Hongta Group. The KRK26and NC71had high level of quality and usability for cigarette production. It was recommended that the K326should be the main variety of Yuxi flue-cured tobacco planting area, and the characteristic KRK26and NC71should be the supplementary varieties for Yuxi tobacco planting area.Fourthly, we provide effective support for quality tobacco production by building up Yuxi tobacco material production technique system.
