The 21st century is a Hi-tech era. As the development of the society and the improvement of living conditions, People pay more attention to life and health. The demand for digital medical equipments dramatically increased. China has become the third biggest digital medical equipments market in the world right after US and Japan. High-end medical equipments sales volume is growing rapidly, but 80% of the CT machine in China market are occupied by foreign corporations. Our independent research and development ability in this area is very weak, so the market share is rather low. The mission of medical equipments is to safeguard human health, so that more people can share the concern of quality of life. As High-end medical equipment, CT machine has brought us a huge breakthrough in diagnostic technology and has got much attention at the same time. The only technological superiority of modern products is not enough to reflect the affinity of medical equipment or to create a "Happy Treatment" concept. Now the medical equipment designers of many companies are striving for the appearance of the machine and also emotion, experience, intelligent design which truly reflects the care of the equipment itself to people with respect.Based on the research of relevant articles and materials, this thesis divided the users of CT machine into three types:doctors, patients and engineers from the perspective of users. And analyze how the CT machine can meet the requirements on its shape, color and Human-Machine interface from the three categories of users’ needs and perspective of psychological characteristics. The machine should meet the standard of security, accuracy, efficiency and comfort when doctor use it, and it also should reduce the fear of patient when facing a cold machine and establish a good mental experience.In previous studies, we made a detailed analysis and comparison on CT machine and summarized the features of its shape development. Took excellent examples from abroad, and made real design models combined with plastic arts and the aesthetic principle of the products. Then did some research on color design, analyzed the attributes of colors and the psychological feeling. And found the user’s expectations for product colors, and collected samples from the design case. Assorted the mostly used colors and color combinations, made color design examples. Besides that, we also did some study on human-computer interface. The CT machine interface was categorized into three parts:display interface, user interface and checking interface for patients. According to human visual characteristics and the position when using a CT machine, made a comprehensive research on display content, key size, location, lay out and scanning bed. To enhance the friendly level of man-machine interface through design, so as to make the communication between men and machine more smoothly. Set real model for the future development of medical products. At last, summarized how to integrate the principle of ergonomics into the design of medical products and provided an effective basis for the strategic planning and new product design of domestic enterprises.
