The background of this article is a real project. Systematic analysis is made about mechanical property of reactive powder concrete(RPC)and its products . The research is mainly about mixing proportion design of RPC,the influence of steel fiber content on mechanical properties of standard specimens, changes of load bearing capacity of products when steel net is added, and the influence of manufacturing technique on the mechanical property of RPC .Based on the optimization of mixing design,investigation is made to reveal the influence of steel fiber content on compressive strength and flexural strength of standard specimens. The result indicates that in a certain range, the strength of standard specimen increases as steel fiber content increases. While the content reaches to the critical value,the strength of standard specimen will stop increasing and tend to be less.With the investigation of standard specimen,researches also be made on the bearing capacity of RPC slab with different steel fiber content and different distribution of steel fiber. According to the requirement of design, the load form for component is equispaced linearly distribution. The style of the load is strip, and the loads at cracking and breaking are recorded as well as the displacement of the midspan of the component, where the displacement-loading figures were obtained. The experiment reveals that steel fiber content has intensity influence on bearing capacity. With more steel fiber, the creaking load and ultimate load increase as well . When steel fiber content achieves and surpasses a critical quantity, bearing capacity also has the declining trend. This observation is in accordance with the conclusion summed from standard specimen. The article also fit the displacement-loading curves of in different section which is to simulate the relationship of midspan displacement and loading in the middle of the component.The technique of production has immediate influence to the bearing capacity of component. The RPC slab component is placed layer by layer the steel fiber content in compressive zone less than the tensile zone ,This method has the distinct enhancement to component’s bearing capacity .The attachment of steel net to the component does not enhance bearing capacity of components distinctly.Through the experimental study, this article obtained the influence of steel fiber content to the mechanical property of RPC standard specimen and bearing capacity of slab component in actual project , and through the research on technique of production , provides theory explanation for applied project.
