Objective: To determine the serum coptptin level of patients with heart failure, and toexplore its correlation with the degree of heart failure and ventricular remodeling, and thusprovide a reference for risk prediction and prognostic evaluation of heart failure.Methods: Collected60cases of heart failure patients admitted to the Second Hospital ofShanxi Medical University, Department of Cardiology,60cases of heart failure group wereassigned NYHA classification into two groups: cardiac function III group of30cases, heartfunction Ⅳ group of30cases. Including23cases of ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM),18casesof dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM),19cases of hypertensive heart disease (HHD). To separatehealthy control group which have30cases. To determine both the group’s serum copeptin levels.At the same time, cardiac color Doppler (the type VIVID7color Doppler ultrasonic diagnosticapparatus, GE, USA) measured by hand measurement method for the determination of leftventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD), two-dimensional plane method recommended bythe ASED etermination of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) as indexes of heart function.Results:1. the serum copeptin levels and left ventricular end-diastolic of Heart failurehigher than the healthy control group, left ventricular ejection fraction of the heart failure grouplower than the healthy control group, and the different of LVDD, LVEF, and peptidelevels intwo group have a statistically significant difference;2. Cardiac function in patients with grade Ⅲserum peptide levels significantly higher than the cardiac function in patients with grade Ⅳgroup, serum cepeptin levels between the two groups have statistically significant differences,the heart functional class III and cardiac function in patients with grade Ⅳ see left The chamberend-diastolic diameter and left ventricular ejection fraction difference between statisticalsignificance;3. ICM group and the serum copeptin level above the DCM group and peptidelevels (p <0.05);4the copeptin levels and LVEDD were (β=0.372, P <0.001) positivecorrelation; and peptide levels and LVEF (β=-0.388, P <0.001) were independent negativecorrelation.Conclusion: And the level of the peptide as a marker of heart failure, can assess the degreeof heart failure to determine heart failure prognosis, and peptide and left ventricular size andventricular reconstruction, to intervene in the AVP system may contribute to the effortfailure oftreatment.
