Chaos Synchronization and Chaos Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor

Chaos is an emerging interdisciplinary subject so that the chaos theory is widely used in many areas. In recent years, the chaos theory has made a great development with chaotic behavior has been discovered in different areas. Although it has gone through decades to study chaos theory, chaos control theory is still at the beginning stage. Therefore, it has important theoretical and practical value to investigate chaos control theory on electric machine systems. This paper researches and analyses on chaos synchronization and chaos control problem of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) in detail.This paper introduces the chaos development history, the basic chaos theory, three classical chaotic systems and several classical control methods of chaos synchronization. At the same time, the chaotic model of PMSM is established based on the mathematics model. Then on this basis, the chaotic characteristic of PMSM is discussed deeply.The chaotic control is benefit or harmful to electric machine systems at different stations. So this paper gives chaos synchronization controller and chaotic controller according to different theory based on the chaotic model of PMSM. (1) The controller of chaos synchronization of PMSM is designed according to backstepping control theory and idea. The simulation results shows this kind of controller can make two PMSMs whose initial conditions are different, achieve synchronization quickly. (2) The chaotic controller of PMSM is designed based on Lyapunov exponent control scheme, this method can eliminate the chaotic state of PMSM, and the simulation result shows this controller can make the system converge to arbitrary fixed point. All this proves the effectiveness of the proposed method.Finally, this paper finishes hardware and software design based on vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) principle and chaotic controller. This paper adopts the special chip TMS320F2812 as the core. On the hardware side, this paper finishes the main circuit and control circuit. On the software side, this paper designs software control system, include main program and interruption service procedures. On the basis of software and hardware system, the SVPWM control system for PMSM is implemented and the experiment results are concordant with theoretical research. This will be a base to study well in the future.
