Object iveTo observe the efficacy of the zishen jianpi huayu pian combined with laser photocoagulation treatment of diabetic macular edema.MethodEndocrinologists diagnosed with diabetes, by dilated fundus examination, fundus fluorescein angiography, optical coherence tomography diagnosed as diabetic macular edema, and exclude other causes of macular edema in patients43cases (86eyes) as the object of study, were randomly divided into control group21cases(42eyes) of patients and experimental group of22cases (44eyes), Selected patients had best corrected visual acuity of the treated eyes of the international standard eye chart testing, parallel fundus fluorescein angiography, optical coherence tomography. Control group:the treatment of retinal laser photocoagulation; experimental group:oral zishen jianpi huayu pian jointretinal laser photocoagulation. According to the fundus circumstances to take the Panretinal photocoagulation or Subtotal laser photocoagulation treatment, once a week, treatment for a month. Two months after the end of the course of treatment observed in each group of best corrected visual acuity, fundus fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography changes. Around the group t test was used, between the two groups were compared using two independent sample t-test, the classification data were analyzed by the x2test, analysis of the effect of the two groups of treatment, and make the appropriate conclusions.ResultsControl group,21cases of42eyes, men13cases26eyes (61.9%), and female8cases16eyes (38.1%); Age:43-72years old, the average (55.81±10.96), the experimental group of22cases44eyes, men8cases16eyes (36.4%), female 14cases28eyes(63.6%); Age:29-74years old, the average (56.2310.75), gender composition of the two groups of patients with and average age differences were notstatistically significant (P>0.05);Vision:After treatment, visual acuity improved. the control group before treatment(0.35±0.32), after treatment (0.44±0.32), visual acuity after treatment, average increase of.09, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05); the treatment of the experimental group before treatment(0.40±0.23), after treatment (0.59±0.23), visual acuity after treatment, average increase of0.19, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05); follow-up after treatment, the visual acuity of experimental group better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);54.76%of the total effective rate of the control group, experimental group, the total effective rate of79.55%, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).OCT:the control group before treatment of the pit of the center of the macular retinal thickness average:(349.24±202.87) um, after treatment (291.83±158.98) um, laser treatment effective(t=5.996, p<0.05); experimental group before the treatment of the pit of the center of the macular retinal thickness average(327.80±50.98) um, after treatment (247.80±112.77) um, the zishen jianpi huayu pian combined with laser treatment effective(t=5.912, p<0.05); The value of improvement of the center pit: the control group (57.40±62.05) um, the experimental group (80.00±89.75) um, the difference of the value of improvement of the two groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05); the average retinal thickness of lmm diameter of the fovea in the control group before treatment (371.17±164.57) um, after treatment (327.98±144.33) um, laser treatment effective(t=5.685, p<0.05); foveal retinal thickness in the experimental group pre-treatment average of (351.32±152.00) um, after treatment (288.43±114.49) um, the zishen jianpi huayu pian and laser treatment is also effective (t=5.379, p<0.05); The value of improvement of the fovea lmm diameter of retinal:the control group (43.19±49.23) um, the experimental group (62.89±77.55) um, the difference of the value of improvement of the two groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05);FFA:FFA performance of two groups before treatment for diffuse leakage area, macular edema in the retina. Performance after treatment for reducing the leakage regional edema. Macular edema and leakage of the control group disappeared or mitigate for the36eyes, the effective rate of85.71%, Macular edema leakage disappeared or reduce in44eyes after treatment of the experimental group, the effective rate of100%, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionLaser photocoagulation is an effective method of treatment of diabetic macular edema, Zishen jianpi huayu pian and laser irradiation is quite effective to treat Diabetic macular edema by improving eye sight, relieving diabetic edema and macular edema and effusion, it can be effectively used for the treatment of diabetic macular edema.
