With the gradual recovery of the global economy , the automobile production and sales of various countries are constantly rising , which also bring huge economic benefits to many countries , but the ensuing more serious problem is that the processing of waste tires such problems have been caused by some countries no small influence , and attaches great importance to environmental protection and energy saving , each country has to deal with the problem of scrap tires has been classified as related to people's livelihood , environmental protection event . In recent years , the countries many researchers in the field has begun to study the processing and utilization of waste tires are from a different point of view to study if the waste tires turning waste into treasure . The highway sector researchers found that scrap tires are processed and fusion with the asphalt through some kind of method can get better performance asphalt called modified asphalt . Such modified bitumen and asphalt mixture is of great help to improve its high stability , water stability , low-temperature crack resistance and other properties . This paper continues this research perspective , the original bitumen basis , and learn from the advanced experience of Hunan Heng Yan Expressway , Hunan Tsunekichi highway , through the research of scrap tire rubber powder Domix dual compound modified asphalt , which to further improve the asphalt road itself and its mixture with the performance , including the nature of the high temperature stability , water stability . In this paper, the reference of successful experience in related engineering by incorporation Domix to further study its performance and testing compared with crumb rubber modified bitumen and SBS rubber modified asphalt find the pros and cons , and such modified asphalt the material can be widely used in engineering and lay a solid theoretical foundation .
