As no an academic is perfect and no dispute, Tong Cheng is a large world controversial school, and it’s glorious and splendid with the decline of the Qing Dynasty and gradually fall, and eventually withdrew from the stage of history, but it left behind the spiritual food which is abundant. It is real precisely because of such doubt and negation, Tong Cheng was able to survive nearly300years in the face of adversity. Now we’ll stand up the objective point of view to take a fresh look and locate Tong Cheng, then you have to talk about its founders, Fang Bao, Liu Dakui and Yao Nai. The Tong Cheng is a School of Literature, naturally there are countless lifterary criticisms to write, but Tong Cheng is also a school of academic, respected Zhu Xi’s Li Xue. It is not purely inherited, Tongcheng School’s development can be said that a development of Li Xue, which makes it a higher level of understanding. The scholars of Tongcheng School thought the pure Li Xue was not suited for society, but the Confucian Pragmatism did, which society could make progress, the nation would not perish. In addition, traditional moral thinking and moral training make Tongcheng School tightly come together and maintain the Qing Dynasty.The main part of this paper is divided into four points:First is an Introduction, which mainly introduces Tongcheng School’s three founders and modern Tongcheng School research, so that the readers can understand Tongcheng School and their philosophy. Second is moral concern and Tongcheng School, which introduce Tongcheng School and the relationships between Tongcheng School and moral concern, Third point is to Separately introduce three ancestors of Tongcheng School and detail to describe and analyze characteristics from their scholars, The last point is Tongcheng School’s moral concern for the modern look to re-evaluate Tongcheng School, which give the inspiration of modern philosophy.This paper starts from the micro side, in order to achieve macro-inspiration, from talking about Tongcheng School’s introduction to their Li Xue, and again relates to three ancestors of Tongcheng School and their moral concern, in turn, talks about from the moral concern to the Tong Cheng advantages and limitations to achieve the purpose of warning future generations. The innovation of this paper should be whose structure is tight and the central idea is outstanding, too.
