The so-called translation, refers to accurately, a language that information into another language information behavior. Can say, translation is a kind of re creation, but more difficult than writing. Because the translator needs to write with a national language works, including the emotional colors, customs, ideas, wholly intact into another language, it is very difficult to do. Therefore, domestic and foreign scholars on translation is not a minority, various translation tool books and classics version also emerge in an endless stream. Among them, the most attract sb.'s attention to the number of translation industry veterans with years of experience summed up the translation skills and methods. This no doubt to the translation novice has brought great convenience, but also made a great contribution to the cause of translation. However, how to use these skills in practice, a big problem is worth thinking about. This report will be through the investigation, analysis China famous translator's novels to prove the correctness of the translation theory, and the correct use method. The author thinks, the skills of translation, translation between the homologous comparison, the results is more persuasive. Therefore, the author will focus on several translation techniques, to "the Izu dancer" of the Japanese original and three Chinese versions as the research object, through comparative analysis of Japanese and Chinese, between the three versions of translation, in different contexts, different style of translation, which is more suitable for translation skills. Translation skills according to the predecessors summarized eight kinds of "literal translation, free translation, addition, omission (not translation), translation, translation, back translation, translation variation" literal translation, free translation in accordance with the "skills" and "translation, omission (not translated)", "sub translation translated, but translation" and "translation variation" is divided into four chapters, each chapter will introduce the concept and characteristics of the corresponding skills, and then on the basis of the veterans summary translation skills translation theory, illustrates and analyzes the practice method. The emphasis and difficulty of how the different contexts, different people, the use of translation skills for. Moreover, by comparing three versions, the author of the more profound understanding of the specific method of using eight kinds of translation skills, and obtained some fool. In addition, the author also found from the three versions of many wonderful example, confirmed the correctness of translation theory. Through the comparative study of "the Izu dancer" three versions, the author draws the following conclusions: first, the different understanding of the source text, translated articles have very different, usually in the use of translation skills. For example, blending, whether a sentence should be translated with the front, or with the back of the translation, it depends on the translator's comprehension. Second, before using any translation skills, must first understand the context, otherwise easily lead to misuse of translation techniques, or superfluous. Third, different translators have different translation style, therefore, is not to say that a good translation will apply to all versions. Fourth, Japanese Chinese translation, the translator must understand the Chinese language habits, proper use of translation skills, in order to make the translation smooth and natural. Fifth, the use of translation, the translator needs to have very high language ability. It is best when the translator has enough confidence in their literary, artistic, or determine the translated texts more suitable for Chinese language habits, more fluent, then the translation variation. The author in this report is completed, continue to study on the problems of translation theory and its application in practice, hoping to make their translation level strive for further improvement.
