Comparative study of linguistics is an important research method. Linguists make it a science by comparing and researching the language. Tuva language and Mongolian belong to two different languages of Altai. The comparative studies of Tuva language and Mongolian give far-reaching significances on common characteristics of the Altai language family. After thousands of years of historical change, from the comparative perspectives of Tuvan language and Mongolian, they have formed their own national characteristics of the language and have formed the text of the specification in the national development process.The relationship between language, text and society has gained much improvement. By the new century the language has owned its separate voice, vocabulary, syntax structure. But long before the scholars found that language is the most important feature that distinguishes a nation and other nationalities. Language is the development of a nationality history. On the basis of the researches, this paper make comparisons between Tuvan and Mongolian using survey data, and illustrate the prototype over the appellation and the trend of the society developing.This thesis consists of six parts, including introduction (foreword), body (three chapters), conclusion, and reference. The introduction part includes current research situation, purpose, innovation, methods and describes the sequence. In the first chapter, the article makes a comparative study between Tuvan language and Mongolian on names, place names, and kinship terms. In the second chapter, the article makes comparative studies on five-animal appellations and harness appellation. The third chapter gives a comparative study on the shelter, and clothing name.
