On C-E Consecutive Interpretation of Netease Open Course Tourism Culture

This dissertation describes one CI task conducted by the author for the open course Tourism Culture. Given the limited length of this paper and the need to analyze, the author selects the first episode as the text objects of the case analysis. Through the analysis of some typical examples, the author aims to discuss common difficulties from four aspects:the interpretation of some special sentence patterns, strategy of logical analysis, problems related to culture, the functions and skills of note-taking.In this study, the author first gives a brief introduction to the task, analyzes the nature and features of the source language as well as preparations made before the interpretation. Then the author introduces the form of practice, summarizes various problems arising in the practice. Finally, the author discusses strategies for solving the problems and points out the inadequacies.Through consecutive interpreting, the author aims to discuss different kinds of difficulties that may arise in the process of CI of open courses, and then explores the appropriate coping strategies and solutions in order to provide some references for the interpretation of open courses in foreign promotion.
