Objective : To study the clinical characteristics of patients with alopecia areata , alopecia areata severity of impact factors related to the clinical diagnosis and prognosis provide the basis . METHODS: A hospital dermatology clinic 314 cases of alopecia areata patients with clinical data , gender , age, early age of onset , duration , recurrence, alopecia area , with individuals and / or and family history of allergic diseases , autoimmune medical history , family history and clinical features of disease, etc. a statistical analysis . Measurement data using t test, count data were compared using χ2 test and multivariate Logistic regression analysis . Results: 314 cases of alopecia areata patients, male 160 cases ( 50.9% ) , female 154 cases ( 49.1% ) , male to female ratio was 1.04:1 . Early age from 1 to 74 years , with an average age of early onset (28.48 ± 14.05) years of age. Duration is 1 day to 18 years with a median duration of 4 months. Lightweight AA ( light group ) 198 cases ( 63.1% ) , heavy AA ( severe group ) 116 cases ( 36.9% ) . 10.1% of patients with a positive family history of alopecia areata , 36.9% of patients with alopecia areata lesions associated with A , 15.6% of patients with alopecia areata have a personal and / or familial history of allergic diseases , 5.4% of patients with autoimmune disease alopecia areata history . Course of severe group was significantly longer than the mild group (t = -7.337, P lt; 0. 05), early age of onset was significantly smaller than the mild group (t = 2.910, P lt; 0. 05), accompanied by a proportion of lesions significantly higher than the mild group (χ2 = 28.784, P lt; 0. 05), between the mild group and severe group sex , recurrence, accompanied by personal and / or familial history of allergic diseases , autoimmune diseases and family history of the proportion , the difference was not statistically significant (P all gt; 0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis , duration of disease, early age of onset and accompanied by A lesions and alopecia areata severity of the disease . Conclusion: The course of the disease , early age of onset and accompanied by A lesions and alopecia areata severity of the disease . Longer duration, beginning early age of onset and the accompanying A lesion is a risk factor for severe alopecia areata . Alopecia areata severity and gender, relapse , family history, accompanied by personal and / or family history of allergic diseases and autoimmune disease history irrelevant .
