A Brief Analysis on the version of Alexander Konstantinovich Glazunov’s Saxophone Concerto in E flat major.As the last master piece of Alexander Konstantinovich Glazunov, Saxophone Concerto in E flat major displays the Russian national style. The rich content is enhanced by influential tones and skillful composition technique.The writer aims to point out the importance of saxophone which is a powerful and attractive modern western wind instrument by analyzing Alexander Konstantinovich Glazunov’s Saxophone Concerto in E flat major.This paper is made up of abstract, introduction, body and conclusion, as well as reference. There are three chapters in body. The first chapter deals with the history and development of saxophone, the second elaborates Alexander Konstantinovich Glazunov’s Saxophone Concerto in E flat major’s writer, its background and structure, and in the third chapter, writer compares the different versions according to her own experience. The conclusion is the summery of the paper.
