Clinical Significant of Serum Adiponectin, Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 Levels in Parients with Chromic Alcoholism

Indicators of chronic alcoholism patient serum adiponectin hormone ( APN ) , folic acid (FA), vitamin B12 levels , triglycerides, cholesterol , HDL -C , LDL -C , fasting glucose , further explore the relationship between chronic alcoholism and cerebrovascular disease risk factors , and prognosis have important clinical value observed for clinical prevention and treatment of patients with chronic alcoholism . Method in patients with chronic alcoholism 54 patients, aged 37 to 68 , an average of 48.42 ± 6.39 years . Drinking life of 5-42 years , the inclusion criteria in line with the Chinese mental disorders classification and diagnostic criteria - CCMD3 \24 to 59 years , with an average of 32.60 ± 7.00 years . Measured by ELISA in serum adiponectin levels ; chemiluminescence determination of folic acid and B12 levels while fasting glucose , triglycerides, cholesterol , HDL -C , LDL- C , and other relevant indicators of the level of research they and serum lipid adiponectin, folic acid, B12 . Results 1. Adiponectin (mg / l): control group, the average level of 2.05 ± 1.10 ( mg / L ) ; the alcohol group adiponectin average level of 1.5 ± 0.57 ( mg / L ) . Pearson correlation analysis showed that : adiponectin and fasting plasma glucose was negatively correlated ; folic acid , B12, triglycerides , cholesterol , HDL -C , LDL- C was no significant correlation . Folate (ng / ml): 7.33 ± 2.4 in the control group ; alcohol group was 3.63 ± 1.97 . Pearson correlation analysis showed that : folic acid and B12, triglycerides and of HDL- C was negatively correlated ; with Adiponectin , cholesterol , fasting glucose , LDL-C was no significant correlation . 3.B12 (pg / ml): control group, 403.4 ± 116.17; alcohol group 497.57 ± 289.57 . Pearson correlation analysis showed that : folic acid was negatively correlated ; were positively correlated with HDL-C ; fasting glucose and adiponectin , cholesterol , LDL -C , no significant correlation . Conclusion 1 , long-term drinking can reduce serum APN level and serum APN level was negatively correlated with plasma glucose . 2 , long-term drinking can cause serum FA levels decreased, and increased year by year as the drinking years , folic acid FA reduce the more obvious .
