Henry Lefebvre has devoted his life to the study on everyday life and he has been known as the master of critique of everyday life. His critique of everyday life is mainly based on the young Marx’s theory of alienation. It carries out the long-term and in-depth analysis on contemporary capitalist society and proposes "controlled consumption of bureaucracy society" concept. In addition, everyday life is related to all aspects of the basic necessities of people’s life. It has certain reference value our country’s "four modernizations" construction. In this paper, it consists of four parts, which respectively elaborates the generation background of critique of everyday life, pre-and post main ideas and research significance.The Introduction discusses Lefebvre’s life, researches on his works at home and abroad, the purpose and significance the topic.The first chapter introduces the theoretical background and historical background of critique of everyday life. Practical reasons for the change of direction in Lefebvre’s critique of everyday life is discussed in the historical background.The second chapter introduces the main contents of early critique of everyday life. It firstly defines the concept of early critique of everyday life. On this basis, a detailed analysis of the traditional philosophy’s oblivion on daily life, philosophical critique of the alienation of everyday life and dialectic method of "duality".The third chapter introduces the main points of critique of everyday life in the middle and late period, focusing on "controlled consumption of bureaucracy society" concept, characteristics and significance. On the basis of a detailed analysis, it discusses the solution for the daily life alienation: overall urbanization revolution.The fourth chapter summarizes the theoretical significance, practical significance and innovation of the critical theory of daily life. Based on careful analysis and compared with other critical theories of daily life, the author analyzes its position in critical theory of daily life.
