Taiwan Neo-Scholasticism’ is the representative of Neo-Scholasticism’stransmission and development in our nation during the20th century, also, it is aimportant and special genre in the Taiwan academic field. It regards Catholicism as itsspirit orientation, Scholasticism as its heritage and schema, and it tries hard to integrateCatholicism, Scholasticism and Chinese Philosophy, so it can hit the mark of innovationin faith and China culture.Luo Guang is the real founder of Taiwan Neo-Scholasticism, and the publishmentof whose book <Scholasticism> marks the foundation of the genre. Luo Guang is abishop of Catholicism. As a bishop of Catholicism, his mission is to preach good news.While times give his special duty: making Catholicism faith to fit mainland culture,Which he finished by integrating Scholasticism and Chinese Philosophy. Certainly inorder to finish this massion Luo Guang must face the reality question of China: howmake tradition transform to modern, which is the question of modernization. Therefore,how to preach good news, how to integrate Scholasticism and Chinese Philosophy andhow to achieve modernization are the questions throughout Luo Guang’s life, and thesequestions ferment his ‘Life-Philosophy’.This paper reviews the construct course of his Life-Philosophy, and explorates hisdiscussion matter by researching his study of Church History. This paper expounds histhought source from theology, Scholasticism and Chinese Philosophy three aspect, thenanalyses the construct course and content of Life-Philosophy. At last, this papersummarizes the characteristic of his thought, and surveies his Life-Philosophy Systemwith his mission, in order to proclaim the value and significance.
