Objective:To understand mental health status and influence factors of the medicalfreshmen,timely find out the problems and take targete interventions,then analysis theintervention effect,to provide reference for future medical college mental health educationand health promotion.Method:The survey takes2005medical freshmen (level2010) inXinjiang Medical Uinversity as the research object and applies the Statistical ClusterRandom Sampling approach in the questionnaires.ChooseUPI and SCL-90as the surveytools.Take UPI and SCL-90survey tools into the school network center then for thenetwork test.Analyzing different demographic characteristics difference(different gender,nationality, origin, whether they are the only children, family economicconditions).Random sample60freshmen(intervention group30people,conventional group30people) from a medical freshmen screening as the intervention study. Choice symptomrating scale (SCL-90) as the questionnaire for pretest and posttes.This is a comparisontakes place between and within the intervention group and the conventional group toevaluation of the effect of psychological intervention.After data entry and check withExcel,the data collected and analyzed with the statistical software package SPSS13.0.Statistical description mainly adopts indicators of rate and proportion. Statistical analysisis mainly tested by2.Using multiple linear regression analysis of influencing factors ofpsychological health.Level α is0.05.Results:①Medical College Freshmen ’s UPI score is11.05±8.93.It is shown that44.63%medical freshmen exists different degree ofpsychological problems.There are11.18%medical freshmen have negative evaluation totheir past and family,10.38%of the medical freshmen in the research have insomniaproblem,or even4.30%of whom have the intention of suicide;meanwhile,around16.61%of the medical freshmen find that they have problems in the mental health,yet only5.54%of them have accepted psychological consultation before;②The main psychologicalproblems of the medical freshmen are handicap of interpersonal relationship, emotional problems and the tendency of force;③The medical freshmen,s psychological health in astatistically significant difference of different demographic characteristics (different gender,nationality, origin, whether they are the only children, family economic conditions);④After the intervention,the intervention group new somatization,interpersonalrelationships,anxiety,psychosis factor score after the intervention than before theintervention, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The conventional groupof nascent SCL-90total score and each factor score, only in the interpersonal factor andanxiety factor scores after the intervention than before the intervention, and the differencewas significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:①Medical freshmen,s mental health isn,toptimistic,nearly half of them exists different degree psychological problems.Colleges andsociety should give them more attention, and targeted to carry out multifaceted,multi-channel health education and intervention;②The main psychological problems ofthe medical freshmen are interpersonal communication disorders, mood swings, forcedtendency;③Medical freshmens,mental health are relatively good(the situations arefemale,han nationality,from out of town,only child,family financial situation is better);④Only child or not and Household register are the main factors that influence medicalfreshmen’s mental health;⑤After the comprehensive psychological interventions,Intervention group of students’ psychological health condition is impr-oving, and betterthan the conventional group.
