Medical science is a very practical discipline with the features of sociality, practicality, serviceability. Clinical medicine education usually divided into two parts:basic medicine and clinical medicine.based on education pattern. Basic medicine is mainly taught in University, while clinical medicine in affiliated hospital (teaching hospital). Clinical medicine education which is necessary in medicine education, is an integral part of training medical students.Nowadays, most of clinical education studies are macroscopically discussing management system and model of affiliated hospital and medical school, medical school and university. Few of studies towards the problem via microscopic points of doctors working in affiliated hospital also as a teacher, and core of management science-human.The study focus on issues caused by doctors on part-time teaching in L Hospital,the author’s work unit,which is an affiliated hospital of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. L Hospital, one of the earliest TCM hospitals after New China was founded, conduct clinical education for a long time with clinicians involved in teaching, and fundamental policy ensuring teaching performance. In the past sixty years, with the rapid progress of modern educational theory and innovative teaching methods, TCM high educations lag relatively, especially clinical education: low levels of education because of lacking consistent selection criteria for clinical teachers or low criteria; lack of teaching work enthusiasm as medical doctors working under high pressure and clinical workload; low weighting coefficient of teaching work in performance appraisal; declined quality of clinical education caused by less effective evaluation system, etc.The study described the problems in hospital doctors on part-time teaching, deeply analyze reasons of the problems by observation, questionnaires and interview methods, propose improving solutions and recommendations finally. In order to provide high quality and effective health services for people, it is believed that we must keep improving teaching quality management system in hospitals, improving assessment system for doctors on part-time teaching,strengthen training standardization of clinical teachers training and solve the problems faced by doctors on part-time teaching to ensure the quality of clinical teaching
