Study on New Path for Youth League to Participate in Social Management

Now China is in the transitional time of social construction,in order to providebetter services not only needs efforts of the government,but also participation of otherorganizations. Youth League as an important part of party’s cause requires the socialrole which matchs its political orientation,so the Youth League can perform the socialmanagement functions,including social management and public service of adolescent.At present,the party construts harmonious society and the change of external socialenvironment all offer an opportunity to the youth league to participate in socialmanagement,at the same time, the youth league faces its own functions developmentand the responsibility to protect the teenagers legitimate rights and interests, so thecommunist youth league organizations to participate in social management has thesocial necessity and consistent with their own development.Meanwhile,the socialdevelopment makes Youth League face many challenges, how to explore a new path topaticipate in social management is an urgent problem for Youth League to study andsolve.This paper firstly discusses the current domestic and international researches inthe social management, in order to get some reference. Then analyzing the main partof this article by using the theory of public management.The main part including theaffairs scope and current situation of Youth League which participates in socialmanagement.Because of the over-emphasized political function, the defective ofagency, the bondage of traditional working style,the egoism of cadres, the communistyouth league organizations exist many predicaments such as unclear affairs,unperfectpublic service policy, unsatisfy the youth interest demand, lack of coordinationmechanism.Finally, based on the reasons to explore the new path for Youth League toparticipate in social management, including integrate sources, rich service carrier,close to reality and concern teenagers, an innovation constructs,then in order toenhance the appeal and cohesion of youngsters, and make greater contribution tosociety.
