Prison Polices’ Psychological Capital and Its Relations to Job Burnout, Turnover Intention

In recent years, with the criminal psychological correction gradual promotion and dissemination, prison police has captured society’s concern.Prison police is a special kinds of police officer, they work in a dull closed environment, with long working hours and complex job details, result in the psychological stress borne by prison police much higher than the average person. This article will introduce the concept of psycholoical capital to prison police, measure and develope psychological capital of prison police, to increase the psychological capital of prison police work to ease the prison police job fatigue, reduce turnover intention.This study selected seven prisons in Heilongjiang Province,466 prison police as subjects, through the questionnaire survey investigate and study the relationship of psychological capital, job fatigue and turnover intention of prison police. Hope that this research data and objective analysis and description as practice reference can provide solutions to this problem. The results showed:(1) "Psychological Capital Questionnaire" has been tested by the police in the prison population has good reliability and validity.(2) The prison police in the middle level of psychological capital, in the medium to high levels of job fatigue, turnover intention, in the middle and lower level.(3) the capital of Prison Police, job fatigue and turnover intention in some differences in demographic variables.(4) prison police psychological capital and job fatigue was negatively correlated. Prison Police related capital and turnover intention was not significant. Prison police job fatigue and turnover intention was positively related.(5) the prison capital of Prison Police police job fatigue and turnover tend to have a regulatory role.
