A Study on the Relationship between Core Self-Evaluations and Job Satisfaction of the Soldiers in the Armed Police Force of Hunan Province

Armed police soldier is the main power of People’s Armed Police. Their personality characteristics, psychological diathesis, ability level, job satisfaction will directly affect the generation of combat effectiveness of the whole army. It’s very important to strengthen the survey and study about the relevant situation of the armed forces soldiers, that is the inevitable requirement of ensuring the safety and stability of the internal forces and successfully complete all the mission.On the basis of analysis the previous study, this paper revised and formed the questionnaire of the armed police soldiers’ job satisfaction. By research the relationship between the armed police soldiers core self-evaluations and the status of job satisfaction, we got the following conclusion:1. The revised questionnaire of the armed police soldiers’ job satisfaction include the following five elements:work achievability satisfaction, work treatment satisfaction, job prospects satisfaction, the job itself satisfaction and working conditions satisfaction. The revised questionnaire has good reliability and validity.2. The core self-evaluation of the armed police soldier is slightly higher than male college student, this shows that the core self evaluation level of the Armed police soldier is relatively higher.3. In demography, core self-evaluation of the armed police soldiers don’t differ significantly.4. About the five elements of the job satisfaction, it can be in order from low to high. The lowest one is working environment satisfaction, second is the job itself satisfaction, then work achievability satisfaction and the job prospects satisfaction,the high one is the work treatment satisfaction.5.In demography, job satisfaction level of the armed police soldiers have significant differences.6. All the factors concerning the core self evaluation and job satisfaction are presenting significant negative correlation. In the level of P<0.001, overall core self evaluation and overall job satisfaction are presenting significantly negative correlation, correlation coefficient is0.307. If the core self evaluation and job satisfaction have closer relationship, the negative predictive power will much stronger.
