The spreading and developing of network bring people a great change and an entirely new experience. Thanks to the network, people enjoy the convenience and happiness of communicating in the cyber world. At the same time, the emerging and growing of network-language has caught more and more experts’eyeballs. They dedicate themselves to studying such new phenomenon. As words in the network-language exits great priorities over others, a quantity of papers is devoted to the construction and generation of words in the network-language. Moreover, some papers place great emphasis on the attitude to and the prescriptive uses of it. As an user, an observer, an investigator and a researcher, the author of this paper firstly conducted a questionnaire survey on cognition and usage of network-language among vocational school students, recorded the QQ group chat, organized symposiums with teachers and students, then this paper summarizes and analyzes the influence of network-language to reality language, thinking, behavior through the survey data by the method of combine the qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis.ChapterⅠintroduction. It briefs the causes and structure characteristics of network-language, describes the current researches on it, the academic importance to this paper as well as listing the materials, ideas and methods.ChapterⅡsurveys of network-language. Introduce the way, the objects and the questionnaire survey’s situations of this investigation. At last, the statistical data and chart shows the result of this survey.ChapterⅢnetwork-language and vocational school students. Based the result of this survey, the record of the QQ group chat, the symposiums with teachers and students, the samples of students’work and so on, this paper analyzes the cognition and usage of network-language among vocational school students, explore the influence of network-language to reality language, thinking, behavior.ChapterⅣtext speak(huo xing wen) and vocational school students. Firstly, it briefly describes the Characteristics and categorization of network-language, the argument with leetspeak(nao can ti). Secondly, it analyzes the cognition and usage of leetspeak among vocational school students. Lastly it researches the advantages and disadvantages of textspeak.In this survey, the author finds that the cognition and usage of network-language among vocational school students is high, and the influence of network-language to reality language, thinking, behavior on vocational school students is immense. Lastly, the cognition of textspeak among vocational school students is high, but the usage and the the usage situation of textspeak is cautious, and the influence of textspeak was dramatized by the press which said Chinese character is insulted、mangled and marred by textspeak. Textspeak is just a play of words in the teen-age years.
