Online group-buying since entering China, by virtue of the "multi-win-win"business has made the absolute advantage of online shopping market, and it hasbecome an important form of e-commerce. Online group-buying can be launched byconsumers or sellers as well as a professional third-party independent website.Currently, the most popular online group-buying refers to electronic commercepattern, initiated by an independent third-party website. Although the website isneither buyer nor seller, as a group purchase project sponsor, plays an extremelyimportant role in the whole process. Thanks to the situation, website in onlinegroup-buying process has an awkward position but cannot be ignored.Many network operators are crazy because of the fashionable of onlinegroup-buying; thousands of group purchase websites have set up, trying to grab ashare in this market. Many websites join in and promote the rapid development of theonline group-buying, which makes competition in this market has become particularlyfierce at the same time. Severe pressure on survival from outside and almost blanksupervision, coupled with site operators pursuit of interest, making some websites toabandon principles, which they should adhere to, resulting in a series of violations ofconsumer rights. The supervision and management of a full range of group-buyingwebsite will be the prerequisite for the healthy development of online group-buyingmarket.This article is based on the group-buying websites, looking forward to theregulation of the websites to promote the standardization of online group-buyingmarket run. From the structural point of view, the article consists of four parts: The first chapter is clearly defined on "online group-buying" by introducingtypes and characteristics. And it is also an introduction of online group-buyingwebsite concept and legal status. The second chapter pointed out the problems in theprocess of organizing online group-buying. For example, authenticity difficult toguarantee, privacy difficult to preserve, aftermarket difficult to place, responsibility isdifficult to be investigated. And then it tries to find the causes of these problems. Thethird chapter is description of group-buy site legislation for current situation. Thischapter systematically pointed out the shortcomings of the existing legal norms, butalso affirmed the efforts made by the national regulation of websites. In the fourthchapter, I will draw upon the successful experience of foreign countries, to overcomethe problems of the online group-buying sites, and come up with strategies, from setup, operation and obligation of websites.This article makes websites as the research object, combined with thecharacteristics of online group-buying, analyzing the status and problems of thegroup-buying site. The aim is to build a system of legal regulation of thegroup-buying website and to promote the online group-buying market toward ahealthy and orderly development.
