As a major form of popular culture, the best-selling novel plays an increasingly important role in people's daily lives. Along with the tide of globalization and the increasingly frequent economic and cultural exchanges among nations, the circulation of the best-selling novel also is not limited to one country or region. One-selling novel in the country does not necessarily sell well in other countries. Thus, how to make a best-selling novel praised by readers in the society in a different cultural context, it relates to all aspects of the novel translation. \The English translation of the work translated by Howard Goldblatt Sinologist, issued in 2008, also became the best-selling book of the English-speaking countries. In view of this, this article attempts to be analyzed in the translation manipulation theory and the theory of cultural hegemony within the framework of the English translation of \Translation Studies Cultural Turn in Translation Studies provide a new method for conversion between the language of the translation is not only a cultural phenomenon, closely related to the practice of literary translation activities with a particular social environment in ideology, power.
