Design of Online Learning Activities Based on the Effectiveness of Teaching Theory

With the continuous development of the network technology and the computertechnology, distance learning is becoming more and more popular. However, onlinecourses have experienced a period of a number of rapid growth and rapid expansion inthe scale, the design of online learning activities have not got enough attention, Thelack of online learning activities and effective guidance of the theory for designing ofonline learning activities are the widespread two problems which in most onlinecourses.This study is based on the present situation, taking the “designing of onlinelearning activities” and “the effectiveness of teaching theory” as cues, three subjectsare studied in this thesis:Firstly, the background of this study are interpreted, the status of research ondesigning of online learning activities of domestic and international is summarized,and some hot topics and shortcomings are summed up from existing research in thisfield, which provide objects for the launching of this study. On this basis, theimportant concepts related to this study are interpreted, and formulate the researchdesign of this topic, which contains the core elements of the research, such as theresearch contents, research meaning and methods etc. At the same time, summarizesthree important theoretical basis for this study, which can lay the solid theoreticfoundation for follow-up designing of online learning activities.Secondly, this study take the effectiveness of teaching theory as the basic theory,and effectively mix the core idea of the activity theory, describe respectively the levelof online learning activities and process models based on "constructive collaboration",And finally integrate the thinking of instructional design, construct the whole designmodel of Online learning activities, which is based on the effectiveness of teachingtheory and meet the demand of the adult learners. At the same time, with this modeland the Ambow of network teaching platform as the base, I make the specific designbased on "constructive collaboration" every level of online learning activities for themodern distance education course, and choose a representative activity task based onthe whole model to make a detailed design and specific teaching practice at last. Thirdly, after the Online learning activities, I scientific analyze and summarizethe online learning activity design and implementation by The Questionnaire Surveyand interview method, and obtain the positive conclusion which means the onlinelearning activity design under the guide of effective teaching theory can effectivelyhelp adult learners achieve learning effect required by learning activities. At the sametime, the author proposed some valuable ideas and methods in this topic for theprospect of a follow-up study, In order to further deepen and improve the applicationof the theory for designing of online learning activity and the research of teachingpractice.
