Evaluation activity is the main form of kindergarten’s teaching researches, and also offers an important platform for teacher’s professional growth. And under the enlightenment of the leadership theory and pragmatics, the researcher holds the view that the leaders’discourse skills in the evaluation activities had significant influences on the process and the organization’s development. What he said, how to say, were both the members in the organization sensitived to and cared about. What’s more, headmaster Z, the business headmaster of N Kindergarten, also touched me deeply with her acclaimed discourse art. It made the researcher kept thinking:what are her discourse skills, which provided the feeling of "warm" and "incentive"? For this purpose, I adopted a discourse analysis research method, by combing the quality and quantity analysis to try to restore headmaster Z’s discourse art.This study took the evaluation activities of N kindergarten’s music group as the sample, and selected four stages of researching activities,in which headmaster Z fully participated in throughout the whole semester, and195times of headmaster Z’s speech act were collected. At the same time, the researcher divided the discourse type into four types, and cumulated264times of different discourse type overlap, which were regarded as the main data for analyzing.Quantitative description part showed the data of headmaster Z’s discourse situation, including the total of headmaster’s discourse, the emergences of different discourse types, different discourse roles of discourse, discourse type&project of different roles. And the complexity of the statistics also further verified the researcher’s expectation. That was, something must be considered by headmaster Z when she discoursed in evaluation activities. The data of the quantitative statistics was an important reference, while the qualitative analysis work revealed the essence behind the phenomenon more deeply by further thinking about what she had said, in which context, and her intentions. Therefore, the essence, the roles, and the strategies of the discourse were rendered to the conclusion as three important parts.Finally, the researcher also discussed the causes of headmaster Z’s discourse skills, and some advises for leaders to improve their discourse skills in evaluation activities.
