Yang Si Town Primary School in Pu Dong New Area Shanghai, was establishedin the Qing Dynasty Emperor Guangxu thirty-two years (in1906), with ahundred-year history and profound cultural background.However, the existing form of hierarchical management has formed a paradigmin the administrative leaders’ and teachers’ subconscious——the school managementfocus on the obedience to superior, the command to subordinate, the standard forinsiders and the control of outsiders, so that the work of the school lost vitality andinnovationTherefore, based on the problems the school facing in the organization andmanagement and the analysis towards the application of project management theory inthe school teaching management, the author carries out a series of practice research.Teaching is taken as the most important task of the school. The concept of“Teaching Project Management of Primary Schools” refers that some of teachingtasks in school are divided into several research and activity projects, and skills ofproject management are used to plan, conduct, control and estimate these tasks inorder to achieve the coordination and optimization of teaching goals.Through the series of practice research, some problems in teaching aretransformed into projects to strengthen planning, organization and conduction of theprojects in the process, so that the administrative cost is reduced, the teachingeffectiveness is enhanced and the improvement of educational quality is promoted.I try to specify the concept of “Teaching Project Management of PrimarySchools”, nail down its goal, content and method, standardize the operatingprocedures, form a series of system and explore some rules of the process by theseries of practice research. The process of teaching project management involves various teachingdepartments and needs the participation of every staff. In the previous teachingmanagement process, teaching and administration is three pieces of leather. Theresearch about “Teaching Project Management of Primary Schools” done by theauthor, can combine the staffs of the above three departments together tocommunicate and develop the whole process. That can improve the schooladministrators’ and teachers’ comprehensive ability and provide a good opportunityfor principals’and teachers’ professional development.By the practical exploration of “Teaching Project Management of PrimarySchools”, the management ideas of the school are changed, a sound managementsystem is set up, the leadership for the teaching management is promoted, theteachers’ enthusiasm is aroused, and thus that the teaching quality is improved. Also,this is to the benefit of the formation of the school’s own characteristics.
