As the great development of vocational education in our country, we needsome specialized applicative talents and workers that can work on the front line ofproduction, service, technology and management directly. Seeing from both theinstrumental and humanism aspects of Chinese language, classical Chinese is agood culture carrier, rich in the content and having enduring value. It’s ratherimportant for vocational school students to develop working ability and improvethe cultural literacy. However in the real teaching process, thereare insuperable contradictions in the classical Chinese classes due to thedisharmonic factors lying among teachers, students and teaching contents. Thusthe writer introduces harmonious coexistence into classical Chinese classes. Tryto build an atmosphere of “live and let live, grow and let grow” among theteachers and students, students and students, teaching contents and teachingprocess. This kind of method can be used to solve contradictions and problemsexisting in the classical Chinese teaching process in secondary vocational schoolsand provide new ideas for the teaching.The paper starts from the analysis of current teaching situation in classicalChinese classes in secondary vocational schools. On the basis of the analysis, thewriter puts forward a proposition that harmony is needed in classical Chineseclasses in secondary vocational school. Chapter2deals with the basis of thetheory, that is the system of coexistence and harmony. Chapter3defines the basicconcept of “harmonious coexistence” and explains the basic requirements of “harmonious coexistence” in classical Chinese classes in secondary vocationalschools. Chapter4discovers effective strategies of constructing classical Chineseclasses with the characteristic of “harmonious coexistence” in vocational schools.In Chapter5the writer points out the problems that should be noticed in classicalChinese classes with the characteristic of “harmonious coexistence” in vocationalschools.
