Instructional design is a new learning that applied the education technology philosophy and thinking method to teaching practice. It analyzes and solves practical problems systematically in teaching, so as to stimulate students’ interest in learning and improve their ability of autonomous learning. So instructional design is the important link of teachingand basic needs.In this paper, according to the characteristics of the history,“Today’s world of economic globalization trend” in the theme eight of high school history textbook（compulsory2, People’s press）was carried on the teaching design. Teaching design process can promote the all-round development of students in different levels. It not only can help studentsmaster the basic knowledge of history, but also can cultivate students’ability of dialectical analysis and solve the problem of history.Full-text consists of a preface and four sections.The introduction section mainly elaborated the selected topic reasonand the significance, middle school history teaching design research status, some important books and journal articles and these topic researchmethods. Main characteristics of curriculum standards, textbooks, learners and teaching strategy selection and design are analyzed which prelimi nary analysis of teaching design in the first part. In the second part, there are detailed design for “Today’s world of economic globalization trend” in the Theme Eight of high school history textbook（compulsory2,People’s press）while the teaching evaluation was designed in the thirdpart introduces. The last part is a reflection and summary after class.
