The network was born in the late nineteen sixties, who developed very fast.At present it is profound impact on people’s production, life. work, learning and other aspects.Under the impact of the network, great changes have taken place, for example, people tend to use global village to express the meaning of the whole word instead of such expressions as all corners of the country, all over the country, the global, the world and so on.The network can absorb all kinds of values into its interior without any escape. To some extent, the human beings have entered "the network survival age"The utilization of the internet originated in scientific research institutes and institutions of higher education. Thus under the background of "network survival" college students are those groups who not only are undoubtedly and most frequently exposed to the internet, but also suffer from the most far-reaching impact of it. At present, cyber citizens at the age of20to39have outnumbered the half of its total number of internet users. It is no doubt that college students are an important part during this period of age. With the development and perfection of the network on campus, many colleges and universities have been establishing on-line teaching videos, websites of high-quality courses and professional forums. Students can download coursewares and exercises, acquire professional knowledge and express their views on courses through the internet. In this regard, classroom teaching or learning can be infinitely extended and expanded, which is beneficial for students to boost their interest in learning and expand their knowledge. Furthermore, more and more college students try to roam in the different areas of the internet space, enjoy the freedom and convenience which the network provides, express their own opinions on hot events, and picture the colorful campus life of their own. College students as a group taking the important social responsibility are subject to the negative influence of the network in the process of their engagement in the internet, which can not afford to ignore. It is because the network can meet various needs that college students are prone to lose themselves in the jungle-like network. Under this circumstance, attaching great importance to the study on the cultivation of university students, taking active measures, and minimizing the adverse impact that the network brings to college students are the task of the time that colleges and universities have to face.Based on the principles and methods of the Ideological and political Education and in terms of other relative disciplines theories and methods, this article tries to take the current situations of college students’ network survival as the starting point. Additionally, through the investigation of the cognition of the networking among college students, the writer puts forward to countermeasures and suggestion aimed at strengthening and improving the cultivation of college students from the perspective of the networking survival. Therefore, this paper starts with the concept of the networking, and then expounds on its development and characteristics. Afterwards, utilizing the knowledge of relevant disciplines, such as the ideological and political education, sociology, psychology and so on. the writer discusses the college students’ cognition and the influence of the network on college students using the method of literature retrieval, interviews and other research methods for investigations and analyses. Hopefully, a comprehensive understanding of opportunities and challenges which the network brings to college students in terms of their learning, life and thought can be achieved. On this basis, the writer elaborates on strategies for cultivating college students from the perspective of the networking survival.
