Along with the development of the cognitive radio and cognitive radiocommunication,the technology of channel coding identification will become animportant part of the intelligent communication technology in the future.In the militaryfield,the technology of channel coding recognition is of great significance in signalintercept and reconnaissance.And it also has wide application in the fields ofcooperative communication,communication radio of different types and communicationsystem identification,thus deserving our deep research.Firstly, the thesis introduces the research background,significance and thedevelopment status of the technology of channel coding, then the describing anddiscussing the linear block code and convolution code, two coding methods withemphasis on the deep analysis into the latter’s conception, which lays the foundation forthe subsequent thesis. Then the thesis analyses the mathematical correlation betweenlinear block code and convolution code, indicating that the convolution code actually isa special linear block codes, and bases on entropy function algorithm to identifyconvolution code. Some popular methods of the identification algorithm of convolutioncode at home and abroad are described, and their advantages and disadvantages areanalyzed. Therefore, we can identify the convolution code through the improvement ofalgorithm based on rank function to identify linear block code.Through theoretical analysis and MATLAB simulation principle, a modified rankfunction algorithm is excellent in identifying the code length and code words on thestarting position of convolution code. Respectively, the simulation results are comparedbetween no error and error codes and between low bit rate and higher bit rate, whichindicates that the peak value of rank function decreases with the increase of the bit errorrate and code rate. In chapter5,the thesis researches on the identification technology ofconvolution code with interweaving. Finally, the thesis proposes the research directionof the technique of channel coding identification in the future.
