It is required that Chinese curriculum must exploit its own advantages to the full and have students master the regulations of language communication and basic competence in New Chinese Curriculum Standard for Chinese Senior High Schools. In Chinese, speech is not only the teaching means but also the teaching contents. So the author thinks that speech class is the . Speech plays an important role in Chinese teaching, so teachers must pay attention to teaching speech in class. The research on teaching speech is a very important aspect in Chinese teaching research. This thesis adopts the combination of theory research and field research and is intended for teaching speech of Chinese teachers in class. Based on the Chinese teaching for senior high students, the thesis classifies the teaching speech of Chinese teachers in senior high school into three angles------form, content, speech personality and analyzes its presentation form and function in class. Then the thesis surveys the teachers and students. Combining teachers’understanding of teaching speech and students’evaluation of teachers’speech, the thesis tries to find out the problems of teachers’teaching speech. The author thinks that in Chinese teaching, teachers should correct teaching attitude, enhance the quality of teachers to improve their teaching speech, and change traditional teaching idea and speech form to improve the efficiency of teaching speech according to the actual teaching arrangement of teaching form and content. In the meantime, emphasizing the demand of students, Chinese teachers should regard students as the subjects in class. Based on the concrete demands of students in class, the arrangement of Chinese teachers’teaching speech should combine knowledge with interest together, emphasize the principle of appropriateness in language usage and pay attention to the combination of oral Chinese, facial expression and body language
