With the continuous progress of the network technology, as well as the further promotion of Web2.0, the building of video sharing platform is becoming more mature from home and aboard. The video upload file size limits, conditions of supported formats, or inadequate network which needs video player to take a long time to wait for connection, are no longer the main problems that restrict the development of video sharing platform. However, throughout the country, the major video sharing platforms existing haven’t treated the educational video sharing platform as a key part. And there are obvious flaws in several video sharing platforms involved in the education. The main reasons are as follows:on the one hand, due to the diversity of audience, and the large number of video content, there is a certain difficulty in the comprehensive classification of educational video content; On the other hand, it is difficult to achieve the copyright issues. All mentioned above restrict the majority of educators and learners to find and use educational videos as an information media more effectively in an open platform. How should we use the existing techniques to help educators and learners with better use of educational videos as the best educational information communication media? How to help them achieve better teaching and learning? How to promote more good educational video appear? This is the major problems this research wants to solve.This study attempts to use dynamic systems theory as a methodology to guide the overall study, including the integrated use of the document analysis, content analysis, summarization and other research methods, and comprehensive comparative analysis of the existing domestic and foreign video sharing platforms. After the analysis of the domestic video platforms’drawbacks, and the advantages and disadvantages of video platforms abroad, this paper will summarize a set of basic classification system including the whole education class video. At the same time, this paper will make a number of the corresponding function models to help educators and learners with a better use of educational videos for education and learning ideas. Based on the ideas mentioned above and research topic ideas, the paper consists of the following components:The first part is an introduction, which describes the background of the problem, research status, theoretical basis and related concepts, purpose and meaning;The second part is the comparative analysis of domestic and international video platform. I did a comprehensive comparative analysis between existing domestic and foreign video sharing platform. I draw a conclusion on the basis of this analysis about the need and feasibility for education and video platform. In addition, I also paid attention to the support services which educators and learners may need in the use of educational video platform. In the end, I’ll paint a more complete framework for the education screen platform.The third part is the design of the education video platform. As for the technical deficiencies, I selected only a few function modules to achieve, and show that the availability of educational video platform framework.The fourth part is the realization of educational video platform. I elaborated on the function was already achieved. The basic design has achieved the desired results, has run steadily after a small-scale tests.The fifth part is a summary and outlook. I summarized the work done in this study, as well as put forward the issue to be resolved, and hope would continue in the future.Through a comprehensive comparative analysis of the existing platform, together with a reference of the successful cases, and my own practical research, I believe the study of promotion of the modern educational video not only raise a new research focus, but also come up with a solution for the educational videos which is facing a classification confusion, quality variance, and a lack of a sound management system.
