The Flowing People’s Children Learning Adaptability and with Academic Self-efficacy and Mental Health Relationship

This study adopted the methods of literature review and semi-open structural interview to study the concept and structure of learning adaptability of flowing people’s children, and according to that, the author compiled the learning adaptability questionnaire suiting for flowing people’s children. Through the Exploration research of structural, Exploratory factor analysis after Exploratory factor analysis and the confirmatory factor analysis after Formal testing, this study formed a four-dimension learning adaptability questionnaire which has good psychometric characteristics in internal consistency reliability,1/2 reliability,validity standard validity, content validity and structural validity etc.The author used learning adaptability questionnaire on the learning adaptability of flowing people’s children to examine the differences in demographic variables, and the results showed that there are significant differences of learning adaptability of flowing people’s children in sex, grade, parents’cultural level, the only child or not, and family housing; and the there are no significant differences of learning adaptability of flowing people’s children in caregivers, residing time and whether their parents divorced or not.The author also used the academic self-efficacy questionnaire and general psychological health questionnaire together with the learning adaptability questionnaire in order to study the relationships between the three variables by the correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results indicate that the learning adaptability and mental health is significantly related, and there is also significant relationship between learning adaptability and academic self-efficacy. Path analysis results show that there are two effecting paths, the first is from learning adaptability to psychological health effect, the other is from learning adaptability through academic self-efficacy to effecting mental health indirectly. And the effect to mental health of the latter is more than the former. Academic self-efficacy plays a positive and active mediating role on mental health.
