Noise pollution is one of the four environmental hazards in today’s society and has become a hot topic of concern in global environmental protection, so noise prevention and control should not be delayed. Accurate measurement and analysis of the noise signal is the premise of taking firm steps to control noise and solving the environmental noise pollution. With the concern on environmental noise and more effort on noise abatement and control, the demand of the noise measuring instruments are increasing year by year, which are widely used in the environmental noise monitoring filelds of construction, urban traffic, industry, social activities and so on.Traditional noise measurement instruments generally have only a specific measurement type and require external ancillary equipment to extend instrument function; lack of intuitive and clear measurement parameter expressions; are able to use the data storage module for data storage, but still lack effective management mechanisms and need to improve data security; need to improve the level of intelligent and automated management because of high manual intervention in the measurement process and complex operation.In view of various shortcomings found in traditional noise measurements, a multi-function noise measurement and analysis management system base on virtual instrument and SQL Server database is designed in this thesis, which has a variety of noise measurement and analysis, real-time online measurement and offline data download, database management, remote control, automatic report generation. This thesis focuses on how to extend the functions of the noise measuring instruments and carry out the data management. Multi-function noise measurement and analysis management system uses producer/consumer application architecture integrated with event structure to realize flexible user interaction and reliable data transmission; implements a variety of noise measurement and analysis functions with virtual instrument technology and computer technology; develops environmental noise measurement module of sentinel surveillance method and census monitoring method joined noise intensity distribution of three-dimensional space and functional environmental noise measurement for environmental noise limit standard of different areas issued by the state; gives two ways of sound power level measurements for noise source according to sound power levels engineering and simple method based on sound pressure method; introduces database technology to improve the effective management of the noise measurement data and designs database backup and restore strategy to improve data security; provides remote control design based on LabVIEW remote panel technology.The design of multi-function noise measurement and analysis management system in this thesis has the advantages, such as a friendly interactive interface, simple operation, multi-functional, remote control, a high degree of automation, as well as stable and reliable operation. The noise evaluation measurement meets the JJF1034-2005standards and so on; environmental noise measurement meets the GB3096-2008standards and so on; Sound power level measurement meets the GB/T3767-1996and GB/T3768-1996standards.
