Currently, the value-added service of LBS is one of the hot spots pursueby operators. It achieves some functions such as sign by cell phone, route queries and surrounding businesses preferential query. LBS applications are also deep into people’s lives, work, entertainment, traffic and other aspects. The common goal of the developers is that creating profits for the enterprise by making use of market trends combining with LBS services and widget technology. Thebackground of this project is wireless city business alliances. The project madean in-depth analysis of LBS services and Widget technology, design and develop a stylish and practical mobile phone applications that providing users with fast and accurate positioning as well as surrounding businesses preferential query.System used Cell-ID+GPS hybrid positioning technology based on Mobile Widget technology combining the features of the LBS application. It put the quickly and accurately positioning on the first place, proposed an eliminate offset algorithm about MapABC base station positioning to increase Cell-IDpositioning accuracy. In accordance with the method of software engineering,first of all, conducted a needs analysis of the system, and using the UML modeling techniques to draw architecture diagrams, flow charts, instance diagram.System was divided into seven parts. There were map module, positioning module, surrounding businesses preferential information obtaining module, searchmodule, car navigation module, user login module and Preference module. Then it carried out the detailed design of the system, including interface design a nd data storage design. In the process of system implementation, system used WAC SDK as a development tool and Javascript+HTML+CSS as core develop technique, and used MapABC’s map interface to display the map. It alsoused JQuery technology to add functionality and improve the screen qualityas well as user experience. Finally, the system did a full test, and output thetest reports and system evaluate reports.The output of this project is a portable businesses preferential informationobtaining system that based on Widget technology. It can run on any mobile phone which installed BAE engine. After great effort during the internship, the α-version of the system had run on the line within the China Mobile Communication Corporation Dongguan branch a month before. It lays the foundation forfurther exploration of innovative widget application based on LBS. Combinationof Widget and LBS have made a useful complement to the form of client application that about existing value-added services in terms of business integration, business experience, business operations, value chain and the driving force of the operators.
