Distributed simulation technology is one of the popular technologies in the last ten years, and many scientific research institutions at home and abroad are committed to its research. Especially, with the development of HLA technology, the simulation system based on HLA has been developed rapidly and applied to many aspects of national defense and economic construction.As a data basis of the distributed simulation system, the effective share of the spatial data plays an important role in the system. Therefore, how to make spatial data sharing accurately and efficiently between different networks becomes a basic problem in the distributed simulation development. Will introduce the idea of spatial data services to distributed simulation environment, building of the spatial data service system based on HLA is an effective way to solve this problem. The main contents of this dissertation are as following:(1) The necessity of the research on spatial data service system based on HLA is analyzed, of which the rule and characteristics in distributed simulation system are studied, the implementation and the service process of the system is also analyzed.(2) The overall framework of the system is developed, the component modules of it and their specific functions are introduced in detail. The interaction classes of spatial data service are also designed based on the principle of the object oriented.(3) The method implementation of the system based on the idea of the establishment of stratified is designed. Taking the development of spatial visibility analysis service as an illustration, a system based on the method developed in this dissertation is achieved.(4) The operation efficiency of the spatial data system is studied, the ways of multi-computer parallel processing and data distribution optimized are developed to improve the efficiency of the system. The way of data distribution optimized is achieved specifically, and the feasibility of it is also tested.(5) The spatial visibility analysis service system is tested from the aspects of functionality, efficiency and generalization. The experiment shows that the implementation of the spatial data service system which is designed in this dissertation is feasible and generalized.
